At the helm is Chef Shawna Harvey, a culinary expert with nearly 30 years of experience. Her background includes positions in some of Toronto’s most loved and celebrated restaurants including The Fifth, Distillery

District’s Boiler House, Pure Spirits & Fermenting Cellar, Spice Route and others, where she perfected her skills as a saucier and chef. The inspiration for BMKC Canada sparked in 2012, when a delighted guest at the Island Yacht Club in Toronto urged Shawna to bottle her incredible sauces, famously declaring: “I don’t wait for anything, but I’d wait for that sauce. You should bottle it!”
